We will pick you up from your hotel.
Explore the Nairobi National Museum and adjacent snake park. The museum recently underwent major renovations and reopened in late 2007. This museum is known as one of the best in East Africa. (Optional – if you would like to visit the railway museum before lunch it is a brief tour that we can arrange)
Lunch at a location of your choice in town. If you would like to experience Kenyan local food we will be happy to take you to a restaurant that serves this. After lunch we will take you to the City Market where there are stalls that sell delicious fruit salad. There are many curio shops in this market as well if you would like to shop for souvenirs.
Your afternoon will be spent at the Boma’s of Kenya visiting a number of different traditional homesteads from some of the 40 plus tribes in Kenya. At 3:30pm the traditional dance show begins that highlights approximately 14 tribal dances. This is a very entertaining performance and you will certainly want to have your camera handy to capture the various dancers.
Dinner at Carnivore. Carnivore is rated one of the top 100 restaurants in the world and specializes in game meat. If you would prefer a different restaurant we can also arrange this.
We will drop you at your hotel after a day well spent!
