3-Day Maasai Mara Classic Safari

The 3-day Maasai Mara safari is the single most booked itinerary in Kenya, and there is a reason it works so well. Day one gives you the journey — the Rift Valley descent, the changing landscape from highland farms to acacia-dotted savannah — and an afternoon drive when the light turns gold. Day two is the full immersion: a sunrise drive when predators are still active from the night hunt, a picnic lunch by the Mara River with hippos grunting below, an afternoon spent tracking a cheetah across the plains, and a sundowner at a kopje with a view that runs to Tanzania.
