Arrival in Nairobi
You’ll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged at an extra cost.
Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Your Grand Voyage Safari driver will pick you up in the morning from your hotel or the airport. After a short safari briefing, depart Nairobi and head towards the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. Enjoy a stopover for photos and shopping before continuing to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at Maasai Mara Sidai Camp. After lunch, relax and then proceed for an evening game drive until 6:30 PM. Maasai Mara is Kenya’s best-known park, famous for the Big Five—leopard, lion, rhino, elephant, and buffalo—and many other species such as hyena, giraffe, eland, wildebeest, zebra, impala, and gazelle.

Day 2: Maasai Mara
Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara. Breakfast will be served early at 6:30 AM, and you’ll take a picnic lunch to maximize your game-viewing experience. The Maasai Mara is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary, home to over 450 species of animals. The Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, and there is also resident wildlife year-round. The Mara River is home to hippos and crocodiles. The annual migration of a million wildebeest is a spectacular sight. Return to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Start the day with an early morning pre-breakfast game drive in the Maasai Mara. After the game drive, return to the camp for a full breakfast, then depart for Lake Nakuru by road. Enjoy lunch en route and arrive in Nakuru in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the Golden Palace Resort.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
After breakfast at 7:00 AM, proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Visit a unique sanctuary that protects a significant number of endangered white and black rhinos, as well as Rothschild giraffes. The park is also home to waterbucks, lions, leopards, and a diverse array of birdlife, including flamingos. Depart for Nairobi in the late afternoon, arriving in the city with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari adventure.
